Study Tips

  • Take notes during class
  • Find a good place to study. Silence may not be right for you. Try out a soundscape through the E-Library of Things (https://usclancaster.libguides.com/c.php?g=1060134&p=7706717)
  • Figure out what time of day you study best
  • Switch up your study area when it no longer works for you. Try having multiple places that you can switch between
  • Try intensive study sessions. Study for 45 minutes at a time
  • Take breaks
  • During your study sessions limit distractions
  • Manage your time
  • Make use of the Academic Success Center tutors as needed
